The news has been making fans really excited. Seeing regional artists at the national level is a proud moment for all Punjabi cine-goers. This will be the first time Ammy will share the screen with Akshay Kumar. Earlier, he shared the big screen with  Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. Fans have showered him with a lot of love and praise for both films. Earlier, it has been reported that Ammy Virk has also joined the cast of Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri rom-com ‘Rola Rola Painda Ni’ that has been directed by Bandish Bandits fame director Anand Tiwari. But no updates regarding the same have been shared by the makers and the team.

However, the film is expected to hit theatres next year. It's interesting to note that "Khel Khel Mein" is also a Hindi movie with Rakesh Roshan, Neetu Kapoor, and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. It was a black comedic suspense thriller that Ravi Tandon directed and was based on Louis Thomas' English novel Good Guys Don't Kill. Once the official announcement is made, we will know whether Akshay's movie is a remake or not.
