'A Guy From South...': Jayy Randhawa Reveals How Je Jatt Vigarh Gya Came On Board

Another month of 2024 has started which is packed with Punjabi movies. So for all the movie lovers, another great piece for you is that Jayy Randhawa is coming up with an action drama, Je Jatt Vigarh Gya. Yes, you read that right. Starring Deep Sehgal opposite Jayy is set to release in theaters on May 17. The countdown for the film has been started and makers are doing their best to promote the film.

Additionally, the performer provided several fascinating information about the movie and recollections of the film's production in a recent chat show with Punjabi Mania. The revelation by Jayy Randhawa that he collaborated with a south writer Janardhana Maharishi for his upcoming biopic Durlabh and during that time he was having word with him to get a story based on Punjab’s roots. And while spending time with him, Jayy got a hand in one of Telugu's stories and then divulged a portion of the film's plot that caught his attention. Jayy realized then that these were similar stories to which people of Punjabi could completely relate. 

So, this is how he made Je Jatt Vigarh Gya. He said that this is an absolutely unique film of Punjabi industry and you will not see action or drama but a different concept which is made on big scales. It is the first Punjabi film which has been written by a South writer. It is another achievement for the Punjabi industry.  Fans are excited as the thrilling trailer has already created a lot of buzz among the media. Speaking of the trailer, it guides you through a narrative in which Jayy Randhawa, the main character, battles for his family's survival and intervenes to get revenge.

Coming to the credits, Je Jatt Vigarh Gya has been directed by Maneesh Bhatt whereas  produced by Jag Boparai and Amarjit Singh Saron. The film’s wcreemplay and dialogues are penned by Amarjit Singh Saron and story has been created by Janardhana Maharishi. It is scheduled to hit the big screens on May 19, 2024.
