Alfaaz's journey of becoming Vadda Kalakaar: Punjabi Mania presents before you the full preview of upcoming Punjabi movie named 'Vadda Kalakaar'.

In what will culminate a groundbreaking year for the Punjabi film industry, it is all but time for the last movie of the year to release. Slated to release on this Friday, i.e., December 28, debutant director Kuldeep Kaushik's 'Vadda Kalakaar' will be hopeful of standing tall on not just its expectations but the promise which the year 2018 has successfully built.

After suffering several delays, the movie will be up for grabs on the day after tomorrow. The trailer of the movie was released a month ago on the official YouTube channel of T-Series Apna Punjab. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of two million views on the same platform.

In what appears to be a comic journey of a desperate artist, Vadda Kalakaar is a period movie which will portray the struggles behind becoming an actor. The movie is based on the character named Makhan, played by singer-turned-actor Alfaaz.

Apart from his consuming process of becoming an actor, the movie is also likely to cover his romantic journey along the way. Whether Makhan will be able to pull both the things off successfully in Deedar Gill's script will only be known upon watching the movie in the cinema halls in the days to come.

Roopi Gill, who registered an impressive debut in Amberdeep Singh’s ‘Ashke‘ earlier this year, is playing the lead role in the movie opposite Alfaaz. Other than the leading duo, the movie stars Yograj Singh, BN Sharma, Nirmal Rishi, Malkeet Rauni, Harby Sangha, Gill and others. The presence of legendary names such as Yograj Singh and Nirmal Rishi gives us a certain assurance about the quality of the movie.

The movie has been produced and presented by Red Castle Motion Pictures. While there is no major competition from any other Punjabi movie, Vadda Kalakaar will receive stiff competition at the box-office from Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'. If it manages to counter the threat possessed by the Ranveer Singh-starrer movie at least in Punjab, it will be highly likely of doing well commercially.
