Ameesha Patel to debut in Punjabi industry opposite Nav Bajwa in 'Fauji Band'

Ameesha Patel to debut in Punjabi industry: The Bollywood actress will now be seen in a multi-starer Punjabi movie titled 'Fauji Band'.

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel will be seen making her debut in the Punjabi film industry in the recently announced movie titled 'Fauji Band'.

Patel, who was last seen on the silver screen in Neeraj Pathak's 'Bhaiaji Superhit' (2018), will follow her brother Ashmit Patel's footsteps as far as working in the Punjabi industry is concerned. It is worth mentioning that Ashmit Patel had played a lead role in 'Dil Sada Luteya Gaya' (2013).

Been part of critically and commercially successful movies such as Rakesh Roshan's 'Kaho Na... Pyaar Hai' (2000), Anil Sharma's 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' (2001) and Priyadarshan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' (2007), Patel will now be leaving a mark in the Punjabi film industry.

Originally scheduled to go on the floors in April this year, Fauji Band has suffered a significant delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from Patel, Fauji Band also stars the likes of Nav Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Harby Sangha, Hobby Dhaliwal, Parkash Gadhu, Parvinder Singh and Aman Singh Deep.

As was the case in his last film titled 'Kitty Party' (2019), Nav Bajwa will once again be seen playing the role of a lead actor, writer and director. Fauji Band will be produced by Ranjung Singh, Harman Bangar and Amrinder Singh under the banner of Universal Punjabi Studios.
