Sonam Bajwa thanks Sidhu Moose Wala: The renowned actress opened up on working with the sensational singer in 'Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi'.

In 'Ardab Mutiyaran', the imminent Friday (October 18) will witness the release of a contrasting story in the Punjabi film industry. Directed by Manav Shah, the movie will see Sonam Bajwa, Ninja, Ajay Sarkaria, Mehreen Pirzada, BN Sharma, Upasana Singh and Sudesh Lehri playing pivotal roles in it.

Barring Ajay Sarkaria, all other names have been part of movies in Punjabi or other language film industries. Sarkaria, who will make his debut with this movie, talked about how working with a stellar cast was a learning curve for him.

"I got to learn a lot. I have been to an acting school [in New York]. But that training is different and observing all of these actors performing is a different ball game altogether. The amount of learning from this movie is more than I learnt in the acting school," Sarkaria was quoted as saying in a promotional interview with Punjabi Mania.

Playing the character of Babbu Bains in the movie, renowned actress Sonam Bajwa considered herself fortunate for being given the opportunity of playing two contrasting characters this year. Bajwa also expressed excitement ahead of the release of the movie.

"You have often seen girls [in films] who are shy and speak less. But there are a lot of cool, fun-loving and strong girls in Punjab as well. We call them 'Ardab' because they listen to their heart. We should celebrate all [behavioural] shades of a girl. People have liked it [so far]. It was a different character for me as well.

"Since audiences want to watch new and different characters, this is one of them. It is rare that you get to play such characters. I am unfortunate that I have played two such characters [Cash in 'Guddiyan Patole' being the first one] this year. I am very excited," Bajwa said.

Having featured opposite lyricist-turned-singer Sidhu Moose Wala in the already super-hit promotional track 'Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi', Bajwa opened up on working with the sensational singer and revealed her favourite Moose Wala songs.

"He's [Sidhu Moose Wala] a little shy, I guess. He speaks less. But he's a very nice person. Our whole team is thankful to him for he has given us the best song. It was great working with him. His songs are loved by one and all.

"I wanted a song for this movie to represent the girls. I had no other option other than Sidhu. I am so happy that he agreed to do the song. His other songs which I like are 'Legend', 'So High' and 'Selfmade'," Bajwa added.
