Chaar Sahibzaade – Rise Of Banda Bahadur grossed around Rs 37,00,000 in East Punjab region across the 3D & 2D versions and Rs. 8,00,000 from Rest of India territories taking the Day 1 total of Punjabi version to Rs. 45,00,000. This is double the opening of what normal animation films take in India but considering the mega success of Chaar Sahibzaade (2014) this would have been expected to be better. In 2014, the 1st instalment grossed around Rs. 22,00,000 in East Punjab on Day 1.
