Sargun Mehta new movie: The actor will start shooting for her upcoming movie later this month.
It was almost four months ago that upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne' was first announced by superstar Diljit Dosanjh via an Instagram post.
It was clear at the time that Dosanjh would be working for the second time with director Amarjit Singh Saron; almost a year after completing the blockbuster 'Honsla Rakh' (2021).
Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne, first collaboration of Saron with writer Naresh Kathooria, didn't had a female lead on the poster upon its original announcement.
However, Punjabi Mania had reported (video embedded below) on the same date that that actor Sargun Mehta would be playing the lead role opposite Dosanjh in Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne.
While the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the same, Mehta has herself confirmed in multiple promotional interviews for 'Saunkan Saunkne' that she will begin shooting for Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne in the last week of May or the first week of June.
In what will be Mehta's first movie alongside Dosanjh, she will be working with Saron for the fourth time after 'Kala Shah Kala' (2020), 'Jhalle' (2020) and Saunkan Saunkne.
