The build-up for the release of upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Dakuaan Da Munda 2' isn't novel for actor Dev Kharoud for he has been there done that when it comes to converting a box-office success into a successful franchise.

Kharoud, who had made a name for himself with the 'Rupinder Gandhi' series (2015-2017), had up the ante with respect to his craft in Mandeep Benipal's 'Dakuaan Da Munda' the following year. Four years down the line, after the movie facing its share of delays like many other Punjabi movies lately, Kharoud has taken all the necessary steps for the release of 'Dakuaan Da Munda 2'.

Also directed by Benipal, Dakuaan Da Munda 2 will release on this Friday (May 27) surrounded by a considerable amount of expectations from the director, production house and the biggest of them all - Kharoud. While Benipal has a release after almost three years, Dakuaan Da Munda 2 is Kharoud's first movie since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other than Kharoud, star-studded Dakuaan Da Munda 2 also comprises of Japji Khaira, Nishawn Bhullar, Raj Singh Jhinger, Lucky Dhaliwal, Preet Baath, Balwinder Bullet, Karanvir Khullar, Deep Mandeep, Sahib Singh, Anita Meet and Gurmukh Ginni in pivotal characters.
