Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has spoken about the release of his film Satluj, formerly titled Punjab '95', clarifying that the movie has been released without any cuts after a prolonged battle spanning four years.
Diljit was responding to a fan who suggested that the film could have been released earlier by accepting edits. Addressing the remark, the actor said the makers had always promised to release the film in its original form and had remained committed to that decision throughout the process.
Referring to director Honey Trehan's statement, Diljit reiterated that the film has been released exactly as intended, without any cuts. He said preserving the film's original version was a commitment made by the team from the outset.
The actor added that the filmmakers fought for nearly four years to ensure the project reached audiences without any edits. Having fulfilled that promise, he remarked that it is now up to people whether they choose to believe it.
Originally announced under the title Punjab '95, the film was later renamed Satluj and remained in the spotlight due to delays surrounding its release. With the film now out in its uncut version, Diljit's remarks have reignited discussions among fans about the journey the project took before finally reaching audiences.
