Diljit Dosanjh has officially joined the cast of the much-anticipated film Border 2, and as always, he’s bringing not just talent but his trademark humor to the set. Currently filming the third schedule at the National Defence Academy in Pune, the singer-actor shared a behind-the-scenes video that had fans both amused and excited.

The BTS clip, shared on Instagram, begins with Diljit walking toward the film set under drizzling skies. With his signature wit, he remarks, “It is very witty weather, it is drizzling.” Upon arriving on set, he playfully adds, “Sandese aate hain, sandese jaate hain, aur hum bhi aa gaye hain set pe,” in a nod to the iconic line from the original Border.

As the shoot was temporarily halted due to the rain, Diljit took the opportunity to relax, enjoying the cool weather. He joked, “Because of witty weather, shooting is delayed. Me enjoying the weather.” Later in the video, he enthusiastically shared updates while meeting fellow cast members and crew: “All the cast, producers, and the director all joined together in one place, let’s go.”

The video captures Diljit warmly greeting co-stars Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan before posing for a group photograph with the team. That same photo was later shared by Sunny Deol on Instagram, officially marking the start of the new shooting schedule.

“When all ‘Forces’ Come together! #BORDER2,” Sunny captioned the post. “Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty join Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan as the battalion kicks off the 3rd schedule at Pune’s National Defence Academy!”

The photo also featured producers Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, director Anurag Singh, and co-producers Shiv Chanana and Binoy Gandhi. The film is now in full swing and is scheduled to release on January 23, 2026.
