Diljit-Kangana Twitter clash: The Punjabi superstar received ample support from the Punjabi industry for taking on the Bollywood actress on Twitter.
Some of the best contemporary Punjabi artists didn't shy away from slamming Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut across social media platforms for her derogatory tweets around the ongoing farmers' protests in the country.
Ranaut, who had previously referred farmers as 'terrorists' in one of her tweets, allured severe criticism after commenting on an old lady claiming her to be available for INR 100 for protesting on roads during such times.
Dosanjh, who has been supporting the farmers' protest since the beginning, was irked after Ranaut's comment on the aforementioned old lady named Mahinder Kaur. What followed was an intense Twitter battle between Dosanjh and Ranaut which saw the former going all out with logic to give a fitting reply to the latter.
While film industries are mostly accused of lack of unity among its members, illustrious Punjabi artists joined hands to support Dosanjh wholeheartedly. Top-notch names not caring about professional competition and standing together for a cause will doubtlessly go down as an epitome especially for Bollywood where people have played safe in the past.
