Gippy Grewal, who is gearing for the release of 'Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di', recently shared a humorous story about his first encounter with Bollywood star Salman Khan. In an interview with Mashable India, Gippy recalled meeting Salman on the set of the song "Character Dheela."
Nervous and unsure of what to say, Gippy awkwardly complimented Salman’s physique by saying, "Paji, dole shole" (meaning "brother, check out those muscles"). Salman responded with a confused "Huh?" Later, Diljit Dosanjh jokingly advised Gippy to avoid making such comments, warning that Salman might take offense.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy filming Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj. Despite a rib injury, Salman has returned to shooting the film, which features a massive set inspired by Mumbai’s Dharavi and Matunga areas, with a reported budget of 15 crore rupees.
The film’s first schedule includes a thrilling action sequence on a private jet, where Salman’s character, an arrogant man with a “bad boy” persona, faces off against Sathyaraj’s on-screen son. In future scenes, Salman will perform several jaw-dropping stunts, including an aerial action sequence.
Sikandar, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated for an Eid 2025 release. Besides Sikandar, Salman has signed a collaboration with Kamal Haasan and director Atlee, with production set to begin in 2025 after pre-production kicks off in October 2024.
