Only the third movie as a director for Uday Partap Singh, Maa Da Ladla will be his second directorial project in 2022 after 'Main Te Bapu'. Perhaps a fair-sized opportunity for an outright success, Uday Partap Singh would be hoping for Maa Da Ladla to put him on the map with respect to budding directors of the Punjabi film industry.

Writer Jagdeep Warring would also be having a similar expectation out of Maa Da Ladla. In what is his second movie as a script writer after Main Te Bapu, Warring would want his second movie to take him on a path of progress.

As far as the actors outside of the lead pair are concerned, Roopi Gill and Naseem Vicky's performances have it in it to shape Maa Da Ladla. Providing a fortifying outlook to the movie, Gill and Vicky could just be the X-factor needed in a light-hearted movie such as this.

Maa Da Ladla comprises of ideal aptitude ahead of release

Last but not the least, lead actors Neeru Bajwa and Tarsem Jassar working together for the second time has it in it to work as a propellant for the movie.

Co-incidentally, the duo had played parents to a young son in their first movie titled 'Uda Aida(2019) as well. That being said, location, appearance and the overall subject of that movie was completely different from Maa Da Ladla.

However, the forthcoming movie would be wanting to receive the same level and extent of critical appreciation such as Uda Aida. In spite of Maa Da Ladla seeming inclined towards the comic element, it wouldn't be a surprise if the movie turns into something meaningfully serious predominantly due to the presence of a son looking for a father.
