Main Te Bapu Preview: Parmish Verma to tussle with real and reel-life father tomorrow

Main Te Bapu Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Main Te Bapu’.

Multi-talented artist Parmish Verma will be returning to the celluloid after more than two years with his imminent Punjabi movie titled 'Main Te Bapu' scheduled to release in cinema halls tomorrow.

Verma, who didn't have any release during the COVID-19 pandemic, would've had one before the two-year mark had the third wave of coronavirus not delayed Main Te Bapu by a few months.

Director Uday Partap Singh, who had co-directed 'Dil Diyan Gallan' (2019) with Verma, has directed a Punjabi movie for the second time in Main Te Bapu. While writer Jagdeep Warring has dialogue and screenplay credits to his name in several movies in the past, Main Te Bapu is the first time when he has written a full script by himself.

A theatre veteran in Chandigarh, Parmish Verma's father Dr. Satish Verma is also playing a titular role in Main Te Bapu. Actor Sanjeeda Sheikh, who had made her debut in the Punjabi industry in Amberdeep Singh's 'Ashke(2018), has a Punjabi release after almost four years.

Apart from this trio, Sunita Dhir, Sukhwinder Chahal, Gurmeet Sajan, Rose J Kaur, Balli Baljit and Sharan will also be seen playing vital character in the movie.

Main Te Bapu Preview

A father-son story, Main Te Bapu will witness real-life father-son duo facing each other in a hilarious race of getting married. Set to have differences as the story develops, Verma father and son are likely to hog limelight in the movie.

Other than the comic element, Main Te Bapu might also end up in putting on display an emotional sequence especially in the second half.

Parmish, his younger brother Sukhan Verma, Ashu Munish Sahni and Aniket Kawade have produced Main Te Bapu under the banners of Omjee Star Studios and Parmish Verma Films. The movie should take advantage of the fact that no Punjabi movie had released last week. While there won't be much competition in the Punjabi segment, Main Te Bapu is slated to face competition from Gowtam Tinnanuri's 'Jersey' and an already running blockbuster in 'K.G.F: Chapter 2'.
