Movie releasing on this Friday: Manav Shah's directorial debut 'Laatu' is all in readiness to hit the silver screens tomorrow.

Manav Shah's 'Laatu' is all in readiness to hit the silver screens on November 16, i.e., tomorrow. Shah, who has worked in several capacities in the Punjabi movie industry over the year, will make his directorial debut with the movie tomorrow, a day he will cherish throughout his life.

Apart from the debutant director, the movie will also mark a major acting debut, that of its lead actor in Gagan Kokri. In an interview which Punjabi Mania, Shah was wax lyrical about his male lead, saying that Kokri had himself taken the initiative of preparing for the character before the shoot commenced. In which is a period film, the news of Kokri working extensively on the mannerism of his character is already doing the rounds. Watch him in an interview with Punjabi Mania below:

Aditi Sharma is playing the lead role opposite Kokri in the movie. Having successfully performed three cameo appearances in Punjabi movies this year, it is pleasing to see her in a lead role. Apart from the lead pair, the movie stars renowned names such as Karamjit Anmol, Anita Devgan, Sardar Sohi, Ashish Duggal, Hardip Gill, Harby Sangha, Rahul Jungral, Nisha Bano, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Parkash Gadhu and Malkit Rauni.

As mentioned by Kokri in the above video, Laatu is a commercial movie which incorporates a social message. It is evident from the trailer that it is a story of times when electricity was considered to be a luxury in villages. Kokri plays a character who accepts the challenge of bringing electricity to his village despite knowing nothing about it. Whether Kokri will win the challenge or lose it will be known tomorrow.

Also written by Shah and edited by Akashdeep Pandey, Laatu has been produced by Jagmeet Singh under the banner of Farid Entertainment and New Era Movies. Laatu will receive competition at the box-office from Chandrprakash Dweivedi's 'Mohalla Assi' and Vinod Kapri's 'Pihu'. No major Hindi release tomorrow, no major Punjabi release in the last two weeks and the continuous dropping in the collection of Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Thugs of Hindostan' has it in it to give a boost to the commercial aspect of Laatu in the coming week.

If you are planning to watch the movie tomorrow or during this weekend, don't forget to share your views regarding the same in our comments sections. Watch the trailer below:
