After the death of Nachhatar Gill’s wife, Dalvinder Kaur, another heartbreaking story has been reported lately. It has been said that veteran actress Daljeet Kaur passed away at the age of 69. The multi-skilled actress, who worked in more than 80 films, died due to a severe illness. She took her last breath in Kasba Pramhar Bazar, and her last rites were performed on November 17 at noon.

Daljeet Kaur was a graduate of Lady Shri Ram College. She worked on more than 10 Hindi films, whereas she worked on around 70 Punjabi films. Kaur competed at the national level in both hockey and Kabaddi. She started her film career in 1976 and stopped working in the industry after her husband, Harminder Singh Deol, died in a road accident.

Daljeet and Harminder had no children, so the veteran actress had been living in Kasba Gurusar Samthar Bazar with her brother Harjinder Singh Khangura for the past 12 years. Moreover, the actress backed her career with the film Singh Vs Kaur, in which she bagged the role of Gippy Grewal's mother. However, during the initial days, she made her debut in the film Daaz, and after that, she featured in films like Putt Jattan De, Mamla Gaddal Hai, Ki Banu Duniya Da, Sarpanch, Patola, and many more.
