Punjabi filmmakers have already seen a perfect film, Kali Jotta in 2023, which not only portrayed a great bond of love and friendship but also carried a social message on a hotly debated topic. The lead actors are Neeru Bajwa and Satinder Sartaaj. And now, in the third quarter of 2023, the two have announced another project titled 'Shayar'.

With the announcement details, the poster of the same has also been shared. The poster also featured that Shayar has been written by Jagdeep Warring and directed by Uday Pratap Singh. The release date has also been out and the film will be seeing daylight in the month of love that is on February 2, 2024. 

Further, the title and look of the poster have been speculated that Shayar will be a romantic film in which Satinder might express his love and affection through some shayaris. Adding to the small details, we can see a feather, which is a symbol of a weapon of writing used to indicate love. 

Meanwhile, while sharing the poster, Neeru penned a beautiful note which reads, “Ek hor Nawe Safar de walh apnia duawan pyaar te sath deo #Shayar”

Coming to the credits, Shayar has been presented by Neeru Bajwa Entertainment and Lienniaz ENT, whereas produced by Santosh Subhash Thite and Lienniaz ENT. The film which features Satinder Sartaaj and Neeru Bajwa in prominent roles is slated to hit the big screens on 2 February 2023.
