PUNJABI MANIA EXCLUSIVE: Sargun Mehta & Ajay Sarkaria To Lead White Hill's Sidhus Of Southall

The name White Hill Studios is synonymous to big movies and great cinematic experience. White Hill Studios is one of the most popular production houses in the Punjabi Film Industry and has produced atleast a dozen superhit Punjabi movies which include biggest hits like Carry On Jatta 2, Jatt & Juliet series, Muklawa, Punjab 1984, Sardaarji series, Lekh & the list goes on. The production house is all set to roll another big project later this year.

The title of White Hill Studios upcoming project is 'Sidhus Of Southall'. The film will be produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord  Singh Sidhu and will be directed by the celebrated director of the Punjabi cinema, Navaniat Singh. Singh has directed a handful of blockbuster films including Mel Karade Rabba, Dharti, Singh vs Kaur, Jindua, Shareek and many more in his super successful career so far.

The lead pair of 'Sidhus Of Southall' is not just fresh but also very exciting. Popular Punjabi actress, Sargun Mehta will be playing the female lead in the film, and Ardab Mutiyaran fame actor Ajay Sarkaria will be seen playing the male lead opposite Sargun in the movie. The movie will mark Sargun’s second collaboration with Navaniat Singh after the 2017 film Jindua.

Ajay Sarkaria, who made his debut with Ardab Mutiyaran opposite Sonam Bajwa, has already made his place in the Punjabi industry, despite of having only one released film to his credit. Sarkaria made a big debut and is set for even greater projects in future. Sarkaria’s second film - Jind Mahi is also with superstar Sonam Bajwa, and Sidhus Of Southall will mark his third project. The budding artist is showing great potential and a spectacular growth graph in his career.

The story and screenplay of ‘Sidhus Of Southall’ has been written by Inderpal Singh, and the dialogues of the film have been penned by Rakesh Dhawan. The shooting of the film will start in August this year in the United Kingdom. The whole movie will be UK based and will hit the cinemas in sometime in 2023. More details about the same are awaited.
