Nirmal Rishi and Roopi Gill to play lead role in 'Arzoi'

Nirmal Rishi and Roopi Gill: The two actresses will be working together in the recently announced movie.

Actresses Nirmal Rishi and Roopi Gill will be playing the lead role in the recently announced Punjabi movie titled 'Arzoi'.

The movie announcement was made in form of a motion poster yesterday. Makers, including the cast, shared the same across their social media platforms. 

Veteran actress Rishi, a household name in Punjab, was last seen on the silver screen in the most recently released Manvir Brar's 'Lekh'.

Gill, on the other hand, had last worked in Sukh Sanghera's 'Laiye Je Yaariyan' (2019). In what will be their second collaboration, readers must note that Rishi and Gill have worked together in the past in Kuldeep Kaushik's 'Vadda Kalaakar' (2018).

Having made his directorial debut with 'Doorbeen' (2019) and already having an unreleased movie in 'Lehmber Ginni', Arzoi will be director Ishaan Chopra's third movie.

Scheduled to go on floors in the UK really soon, Arzoi will be produced by Shabeel, Shamsher Singh, Jass Dhami, Sukhmanpreet Singh and Ashu Munish Sahni under the banners of Omjee Star Studios, SSD Production and Hangboyz Studios.
