2022 was the year of Punjabi cinema with many big releases. One such big release was the Simerjit Singh directorial film Oye Makhna. Oye Makhna was a Yoodlee production which released on the big screens on 4 November 2022.

Starring Ammy Virk and Tania in the lead, the movie revolves around a fun romantic dynamic complemented by loads of family drama. Tania has worked with Ammy Virk in many projects including the Qismat Series, Sufna, Baajre Da Sitta and Oye Makhna. Both the stars share an incredible onscreen as well as offscreen bond and are known for their brilliance in their fields. The duo made a splendid onscreen jodi and exhibited a dazzling chemistry in Oye Makhna.

Ammy Virk played the character of Makhan in the film whereas Tania played the character of Rimple in Oye Makhna. Both the stars outdid themselves in playing their respective characters and did a praiseworthy job. The movie got mixed response at the box office, but on flip side, it received immense appreciation and love from many Punjabi cinema lovers.

Many Punjabi viewers and fans, who missed watching Oye Makhna in the cinemas, are eagerly waiting for its OTT release. The OTT release date, and also the platform for digital release, has not been revealed by the makers yet.

Considering the substantial subset of public who is anticipating the movie's digital distribution, the makers might expedite the OTT release of Oye Makhna.
