Popular Punjabi singer-actor Parmish Verma suffered injuries during the shoot of his upcoming film Shera in Ambala, Haryana. The mishap took place on Monday when a scene involving a mock firing went wrong, shattering the glass of a car in which Parmish was seated. A piece of glass struck his face, leaving him injured.

The actor was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where doctors administered treatment. After receiving medical care, he returned to Chandigarh. Following the incident, production work on the film has been temporarily suspended.

According to initial reports, the accident occurred during a high-intensity action sequence when a fake bullet was fired at the car. The unexpected breakage of the windshield caused the glass fragments to hit Parmish. Although no official confirmation has been issued by the filmmakers, Parmish himself acknowledged the incident on Instagram, assuring fans that the situation was under control.

Shera, directed by Savio Sandhu, is slated for a worldwide release on May 15, 2026. Parmish will be seen essaying the titular role in this action-drama, which promises a mix of intense emotion and gripping storytelling. The makers are reportedly investing heavily in the project, with lakhs of rupees being spent on each set, though the overall budget has not been disclosed yet.
