Qismat 2 release date confirmed; teaser set to release alongside 'Puaada'

Qismat 2 release date: Hardcore fans of blockbuster Punjabi movie titled 'Qismat' will no longer have to wait for much long for its sequel.

It was only a week ago that writer-director Jagdeep Sidhu and music director-singer B Praak had provided a massive hint to their fans regarding the release date of the teaser of 'Qismat 2'.

A sequel to Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta-starer 'Qismat' (2018), it seems that hardcore fans of the movie will no longer have to wait for much long for its sequel now.

In an exclusive conversation with Punjabi Mania, a reliable source in the exhibition and distribution industry has confirmed that Qismat 2's teaser will release alongside Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa-starer 'Puaada' on August 12.

Qismat 2 release date confirmed

Officially announced by Sidhu in September 2019, a year after Qismat's release, Qismat 2 has faced a couple of delays due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to release on September 18 last year, the much-awaited movie was postponed to April 2 this year.

It was in March this year that the makers had announced an updated release date in September 24. The source further confirmed to Punjabi Mania that makers of Qismat 2 are preparing to stick to the aforementioned release date.

In such a situation, the makers of Qismat 2 will have enough time between August 12 and September 24 with respect to releasing the trailer, songs and promoting the movie. However, if the same happens, the movie is likely to clash as another reputed production house has announced an untitled movie for September 24.
