Review: 'Peg Di Waashna' to inebriate fans

The Bamb Jatt of the Punjabi music industry, Amrit Maan, has come up with his newest single track, 'Peg Di Waashna'. Having released 'Bamb Jatt' (March) and 'Guerrilla War' (October) earlier this year, this is his third single track of the year.  Apart from these single tracks, Maan had also made his debut as an actor in 'Channa Mereya' this year.

In what will go down as one of the most indelible years of his career, Peg Di Waashna has it in it to close out the year on a high note for Maan. The song was released in the morning on the official YouTube channel of Speed Records. It has opened up to a response which is in the affirmative. At the time of writing this article, it has received in proximity of 1.5 lakh (within two hours) views on the same platform.

As is the case with virtually all his songs, this one has also been written by Maan himself. Without going much into the semantics, Peg Di Waashna is likely to inebriate the listeners for the song has de rigueur facets which are required in a song to do well in the contemporary market.

Himanshi Khurana, a name of high stature in the Punjabi music industry, has delivered yet another successful act. With every passing project, she seems to be in a class of her own. Her sound chemistry with Maan in the video is likely to gain her high opinions. For all we know, it would not be wrong to say that it is only a matter of time before we see her playing lead roles in Punjabi movies.

The song is musically directed by DJ Flow. He has done an outstanding job in making the song what it is. The video of the song is directed by Tru Makers. Ten to one this concept-based video will not led the audience's attention to go separate ways.
