Satbir Singh is a well-known name in Punjabi Film Industry. Having assisted in several Punjabi Films, Satbir is all set to make his directorial debut with a ‘Hindi-Language’ Short Film, Shaheed. Based on real incidents, the film is set in the backdrop of martyr Paramjeet Singh who died in the line of duty. It tells the ode of a grieving family, who have lost their loved one and find it hard to come to terms with the reality.
Speaking to Punjabi Mania, director Satbir said, “I am happy to kick off my directing career with such great martyr’s story. The film is dedicated to the families of all martyrs.”
The film is produced by Ranbir Singh Kaloya and will be available on YouTube shortly.
