Yes I Am Student’s shoot begins in Canada: The shoot has begun of the sensational singer’s first Punjabi movie as a lead actor.

Sensational singer Sidhu Moose Wala has started shooting for his first movie as a lead actor. While Moose Wala will be seen in Aditya Sood’s ‘Teri Meri Jodi’ next month, Punjabi Mania believes that it will be a brief role for the lyricist-turned-singer.

Titled ‘Yes I Am Student’, the movie was announced in November last year. It is interesting to note that the movie has taken as many as nine months to get on the floors. It might sound a tad unusual for the Punjabi film industry, but here is hoping that the makers might have been working on the script for all this time.

Directed by Tarnvir Singh Jagpal, the movie will be Jagpal’s third Punjabi movie after ‘Rabb Da Radio’ and ‘Daana Paani’. Lyricist Gill Raunta, whose first film as a writer in ‘Kaka Ji‘ had released earlier this year, has written the movie.

Moose Wala took to his Instagram handle to share the development with his fans. “Be ready for it. My first movie and dream project,” Moose Wala wrote in his Instagram story. Soon enough, the story was shared by plentiful people on their Instagram profiles.
