T-Series closing in on Pewdiepie’s YouTube Subscribers: Punjabi Mania presents before you the current status of the riveting YouTube contest.

T-Series, India’s biggest music record label company, was founded in 1983. The company has witnessed metamorphosis in a manner that perhaps no other Indian company has went through in this sector.

From cassettes to CDs to moving their base on YouTube, T-Series has been there and done that. Talking about its latest phenomenon in the YouTube channel, it is closing in on the record of most subscribers on a YouTube channel.

With 88,759,023 (at the time of writing this article) subscribers under its name, YouTube channel PewDiePie currently holds the record. Run by a Swedish YouTuber called Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, the channel has reached to trailblazing heights.

Having said that, the Indian channel is not far behind and can overdo PreDiePie anytime soon. T-Series currently has  88,743,837 (at the time of writing this article) subscribers on YouTube. Bhushan Kumar, son of Gulshan Kumar and Managing Director of T-Series, recently took to social media platform Twitter to urge the Indian audience to subscribe to his channel in a bid to achieve the milestone.

For an Indian channel to do so exceedingly well is a matter of pride for the whole country. Here is wishing that T-Series covers the deficit to become the most subscribed YouTube channel ever.
