Tara Mira Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you full movie preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Tara Mira’.

October 11 (Friday) will witness the 12th occasion of two or more Punjabi movies releasing on the same day in 2019. If you think that’s not enough, the previous year in 2018 had seen only eight such instances. With 11 Fridays still remaining in the year, expect the count to further strengthen.

Among one of the movies to hit the silver screens on this Friday will be ‘Tara Mira’. The movie will mark the comeback of director Rajiev Dhingra in the Punjabi industry after three years. Dhingra had made his directorial debut with ‘Love Punjab’ (2016). Apart from being a director, Dhingra also shares credits as a producer and writer in this movie.

Tara Mira will see singer-turned-actor Ranjit Bawa and Nazia Hussain play the lead role in the movie. Been working in other industries since 2012, Hussain will make her debut in the Punjabi film industry now.

Apart from the lead pair, the movie also stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Yograj Singh, Sudesh Lehri, Rajiv Thakur, Anita Devgan, Shawinder Mahal and Ashok Pathak. Renowned comedian Lehri, whose last Punjabi film ‘Dil Sada Luteya Gaya’ had released in 2013, will be seen after a long interval.

Tara Mira Preview

It is evident from the trailer that Tara Mira’s plot will put forward a challenging transformation for a section of its cast. While Bawa will be impelling this transformation, his love interest in Hussain’s family will be under the scanner to go through it.

Tara Mira will also mark singer Guru Randhawa’s debut as a producer. Randhawa will also be playing a cameo in the movie. Other than Randhawa, the movie will be produced by Ashok Yadav, Rajiev Dhingra, Jyoti Sekhon, Shilpa Sharma under the banners of 751 Films, Rapa Nui’s Films, Yadu Productions and Red Eye Productions.

The movie will face stiff competition from Siddharth Anand’s ‘War’ and Livtar Singh and Kaypee Gill’s ‘Unni Ikki’ at the box-office. Having said that, with no Punjabi movie having released in the last week, there is space for both Tara Mira and Unni Ikki to prosper on October 11.
