Ucha Buraj Lahore Da: The next Punjabi movie of the writer-turned-director got announced in a massive surprise last evening.

Writer-director Amberdeep Singh has announced his next Punjabi movie. With Amberdeep already having four unreleased movies as a director under his belt, the announcement of a fifth one came as a massive surprise for his bountiful fans.

It is worth mentioning that Amberdeep had last directed 'Bhajjo Veere Ve' (2018). Apart from writing and directing the movie, Bhajjo Veero Ve also witnessed Amberdeep Singh playing the lead role opposite actress Simi Chahal.

Amberdeep's most recently announced movie is titled 'Ucha Buraj Lahore Da'. While Amberdeep has once again written the script of the movie, he will also be directing it as it prepares for a release in 2021.

As far as the casting of the film is concerned, the same has been kept under wraps till now. Having said that, one can expect the casting-related announcement in the near future.

The first poster of the movie does reveal that the movie will be produced under the banners of Amberdeep Productions and Rhythm Boyz Entertainment.

Amberdeep, who had recently also announced his personal YouTube channel, has directed movies such as 'Lahoriye', 'Laung Laachi', 'Ashke' and Bhajjo Veero Ve till now.



 

Much awaited Punjabi movie 'Jodi', starring Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira, is among Amberdeep's upcoming Punjabi movies as a director. Slated to hit the big screens on June 26 this year, it is likely that the movie will get delayed due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

It was in February this year that producer Karaj Gill and Amberdeep himself had announced an untitled film with singer-turned-actor Amrinder Gill. With that movie initially scheduled to release on July 31, its immediate future is also uncertain in the wake of the ongoing global crisis. In 'Je Jatt Vigar Gaya' and 'Laung Laachi 2', Amberdeep has two more unreleased movies as a director to his name.
