Veet Baljit acting debut: Renowned lyricist-turned-singer Veet Baljit will soon be seen in a Punjabi movie as an actor.

Renowned lyricist-turned-singer Veet Baljit will be seen making his acting debut as a lead actor in upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Bhakra Main Te Tu’. Baljit has played cameo roles in Pankaj Batra’s ‘Bambukat‘ and Amberdeep Singh’s ‘Laung Laachi‘ in the past.

While the movie was slated to release earlier this year, it has been delayed due to unknown circumstances. In what has come as an affirmative development is the fact that the shooting of the movie has been completed. Therefore, expect the movie to release in the months to come.

Bhakra Main Te Tu will also mark Baljit’s debut as a script writer in the Punjabi film industry. The movie has been directed by National award-winning director Rajeev Kumar.

Other than Baljit, Bhakra Main Te Tu also stars Deepak Dhillon, Shavinder Mahal, Malkeet Rauni and Gurpreet Bhangu. If sources are to be believed, the movie will also witness an A-list star in a cameo appearance in the movie.
